Josh's breathing had seemed to improve during the night until around 4:30am. He again started having increasing episodes of apnea accompanied with bradycardia (low heart rate). He needed stimulation several times to come out of these episodes and did not improve with suctioning. Dad just spoke with the day nurse who told us that Josh has had one such episode since 7:30am that required intervention. Our nurse practioner, Jen, has been informed and order a bunch of test for Josh as they are worried that he has an infection.
Please pray with us that Josh would not have an infection, that a cause for his infection would be found and that his breathing would improve today.
We will update later today when we know something more. Thank you for joining us in praying for Josh.
